They Found Me!!
I was asked to paint two pieces for a "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) event. This is a very festive Mexican Traditional Holiday celebrating their departed ancestors.
The pieces sold immediately so I painted more. In the past two years ago I have done almost 30 paintings, some were commissioned pieces that represent a family setting. (Unusual family portraits!!)
When I see people having a good time I translate the fun into one of my skeletons celebrating life.
I sometimes think these figures have just been waiting for me to bring them back.
